Avalanche will be your best bet for spring cleanup and lawn care. They do incredible work! Would highly recommend them.

Friends burnt with one of these new start ups who over promised and underdelivered! They didn't do what they promised and are making all these excuses.  
 
My recommendation: stick to the known names. Sorry to lump them all together but not all these young men are trustworthy!!

Could anybody post some typical prices for spring cleanup? I'm looking for ballpark figures, as it would be helpful in trying to figure out if I should do it myself or hire it out. Since it probably depends what exactly you need done, just share what was done on your yard and approximately how much it cost. Thanks!

We had 3 companies say they couldn't fit us in this season  
2 others told me they would get me quotes  
1 never came by the other quoted me for things I didn't need.  
-We were looking for aerating, fertilize, seeding.-  
Their quote was...$50.00 for basic spring cleanup (removal of sticks and leaves plus first mowing)  
Or $70.00 for basic spring cleanup (removal of sticks and leaves, power raking, plus first mowing)
