new dehumidifier advice needed

I need to replace my dehumidifier and am looking for one without electronic controls. This is because my current one with electronic controls does not turn itself back on after a power interruption. I have looked at a few but have only seen electronic controls. My old one is subject to this recall due to fires per link.

It appears to be a valid recall and not a scam. Anyone else put in a claim?
