    At one point, there were Real Estate agents who, for a fee, would look at your house and write what was known as a "Letter of Opinion" regarding the value of your home in the current market.  
    I do not need an appraisal but need a letter of opinion.  
    If there are still any agents out there that offer this service, I would be interested to know.  
    If anyone knows of one, or is one, they could pm me.

    Interestng. I have never heard of a letter of opinion. Maybe phone a realtor & ask is the only thing I can think if to suggest.

    I have had a realtor complete one in the past, just having issues finding one that still does them.  
    Basically, it is just an opinion of what your home may sell for based on condition and current market values.  
    I am not looking to sell, just looking to find what it may be worth without paying the $400 plus mileage fees that most appraisers are asking.
