We have two of the D-Link models linked above, one in each of our sump pits. Set the sensor cord just above the kick in height for the pumps in the pit. Tested by unplugging the pumps and letting water rise an inch too high and they worked great with alerts getting sent to our multiple phones and emails. Awesome for peace of mind as every sump pump will die one day just a matter of when... and with my luck it would be on a long-weekend when we are away.
Only issue I have found is that they run off wall plug power and use home WIFI to connect, so an extended power outage may lead to issues if the pit fills up fast. There doesn''t seem to be a way to get it to alert you to a loss of power/signal either... But in our case our WIFI thermostat does send a phone alert if a signal/power loss in the home is detected so we would at least have some idea that something is wrong...
