Hi. Looking for help finding a cleaner for a couch.  
Our cat was ill and urinated on the couch! Yuck  
Is the couch toast or can it be cleaned?

You may try calling different pet store to see if they carry any type of removal.  
I am thinking it is done. Once they start and if your cat is unwell your pet will likely do it again. Sorry. Could you put in a insurance claim

In my professional opinion, probably cleaned a thousand pieces of furniture in my time, I would say your couch is probably done. Cat urine is one of the hardest odours to deal with. Chances are it has gotten thru the fabric and into the padding where no amount of cleaning and deodorizing will reach. If possible remove the cushion slip and launder it, replace the cushion foam and ticking, an upholsterer will sell this. Instead of replacing the foam it is possible to wrap the old foam in plastic, garbage bag works well. That will stop odour permeating thru the fabric. Put slip back on once dry.. If you can't remove the cushion slip and do this then it is probably a lost cause. Hope this helps

ZEP Carpet & Upolostry Cleaner in a blue squirt bottle and I have historically found it at Home Depot or Canadian Tire.  
 
It will clean stains old and new. Pets and people (for little kids)!!

My cat was going wherever she pleased for a few days until I realized she hated her litter and finally had enough. I changed her litter type and she never peed outside the litter box until the day she passed away and she was too sick to get into it. Try to find a good enzyme cleaner, the enzymes will eat anything organic left in the cloth and material of the couch.

Enzyme cleaners don't do much. Sometimes they can stain the fabric of your upholstery. I've tried them all.

Enzymes do if you do it right. I've been using them for years detailing and cleaning cars removing everything from Deer blood ( long story ) to urine, feces and everything you can imagine a kid spilling. The secret is diluting it properly as enzymes need water to work and they do have a shelf life. They should never come premixed. If you don't add water they won't activate.
