My partner and I are expecting! We're excited but when it comes right down to it, we have zero experience. I have held a baby once, about 10 years ago for a picture. He has never held a baby. We have never babysat, have watched YouTube videos on how to change a diaper, why are there so many bottle choices?  
 
What my overall question is, is there somewhere we can go before baby comes to get experience? Have someone teach us "common" baby knowledge? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I went to the healthy baby program for my first. They have a class for prenatal and then another class for your baby's first year that you can attend. All free. It is held at the church down the street from the YMCA (united church?)... if you go down to the Manitoba Health office in the Town Centre (as that is who puts it on) they have more information. It is a REALLY good program!

Congrats! First babies are very daunting, even if you have child care experience. We just had #5, and even then you need to relearn with each baby as you get to know their unique quirks and personalities!  
 
If you're interested in learning about breastfeeding, I would encourage you to try out a couple of La Leche League meetings. They meet once a month. I found it really helpful at the beginning to connect with other moms, and to see babies at different ages and abilities at the meetings.
