Planning a little daddy daughter date night for Friday. She is just shy of 3 years old. So far my ideas are:  
Fun and games  
Bowling- (Kids bowl free I just found out if anyone else is looking for ideas!)  
 
Of course, Happy Meal for dinner.  
 
Any one have any other cool suggestions or ideas that I maybe would not have known about??

one thing I did with my son when he was 4 was take him out for a fancy dinner. He wore a suit and me a fancy dress, I gave him the money to pay for it, so he felt like the man. After we played a round of mini golf and went to the movies...of course it was a kid one. It was so nice.  
 
Maybe get mom to dress her up all pretty buy her a flower when you get her, take her to the park for a picnic. later maybe take her to a pool and go swimming followed by an ice cream to end the night.

Maybe we will get all fancied up! Make sure she has high expectations for when that dreaded dating age comes around! She loves it when mom does her nails and hair- that might be the most fun part for her tho hahaha.

Less is more with a three year-old. Collect rocks in a bucket and throw them in the river from the pedestrian bridge.

that would be exciting for her, getting dressed up for daddy to take her out!

What I used to do with my daughter is get all dressed up and go to a cosy relaxing little country tea house for a piece of cheesecake and tea. Keep in mind if you do this, to go to a venue close by. ;) We did this once a month or so and it was always something we both looked forward to.  
 
It was simple & fun.  
 
Maybe taking her for a little walk in the Daly Museum gardens to smell flowers and look at bugs would be a good pairing with this activity...that is, if she likes bugs.  
 
Or...I keep hearing about Crows General Store. There you could do an ice cream and an exploratory nature walk. Kids that age are very curious and like to explore and learn. Make sure you have time and don't make her feel rushed. Get right down on the ground with her and look at the bugs, pretty rocks and plants. Make comments about the things she/you discover(s) and help her learn a little about the things that catch her eye. Take a pretty rock home of her choosing to remember the special date. Memories are better than anything else.  
 
I think the other ideas are good, but might be better suited to her as she gets a little older (except of course the happy meal, lol).

At three years old everything is pretty special. Take her to a park with a playground. Maybe Dinsdale. Throw rocks in the river.

Yes! She would get so excited about dropping rocks off the bridge hahaha.  
 
I like that everyone is suggesting things that don't cost a million dollars. Not that I am opposed to spending some money, but kids should enjoy the little things before materialism kills their imagination!  
 
I do think the dinner portion will be McDonalds- Dad doesn't get that ever (Metabolism isn't so found of it these days) so a nice treat for him too hahaha.

Wonderful idea. And SO nice to see all the encouragement on this. First time that nobody said anything bad or mean.

Little ones love to paint and then you have it to keep as a memory!

Regal nails at Walmart has packages for kids. You could even do it and go through with the massage foot soak, nail scrub and just not get painted? They can accommodate multiple people (I’m a customer not an employee).

Our family really enjoys the East end community centre playground and the playground at the discovery centre. Could bring a picnic and sit at the tables after.

I just love the idea of getting dressed up for a date with her dad! Adorable!  
 
I recall seeing a baby dressed in his dads shirt with photos every year until he became a man himself and the shirt was tight fitting.  
 
Maybe mommy could let her put on one of her favourite dresses and you can take a picture each year on an annual date with her until it fits her. I think that would be so sweet and i:nclude the oversized pearls or necklace! Make for the cutest memories!

Splash park? If she can sit still long enough, a kid movie, but my 3 year old usually needs to leave the theatre a couple times.
