So I have a question, we received a note from Vincent Massey high school that clearly states changes to timetables can be made starting on August 24 at 9 AM by contacting student services. When contacting student services, there is an automated recording that states changes can be made via email with guidance counselors beginning on August 31. After emailing the appropriate guidance counselor, I received out of office reply until September 4. My question is, has anyone else successfully been able to make an appointment to change a timetable for a student in high school prior to September 8 start time? There are 2 classes that my son requires to graduate, which are not listed on the computer generated timetable. I’m worried there will be hundreds of students who need to change timetables as most of their timetables were computer generated this summer (due to Covid). Obviously there has been a miscommunication of this process in the letters send out by VM. Is anyone aware of a step I am missing? Thank you!

We did the same thing this morning. Daughter needs 3 credits to graduate. I sent an email to change courses to the 3 required to graduate only, and drop all others to reduce stress. Since she will be doing remote learning, I can’t see it being an issue to change classes. I’m not worried about it.
