Hey everyone!  
 
I am a trained Early Childhood Educator and have been in childcare for almost 10 years. I have always wanted to have a home-based centre where I can fully implement all my exceptional learning and teaching techniques. I am very nature-based, outdoorsy, and love to learn by doing, not by watching!  
I have a home in the country by Alexander, where we have roughly 7 acres and a friendly husky. I am just putting this out there because I'd like to see if there is interest before I invest time and effort into creating my dream early learning environment.

Is so hard to find. Congratulations on taking the first step towards your dream. I don’t need child care but I constantly hear how people are looking for childcare, so good luck to you.

Would love more information on your location. We will be looking for 2 spots (infant and preschool) in August/Sept of 2022 and we live east of Alexander!

I used to run a home based daycare outside of Brandon - only 1 mile out. Location was a factor in families choosing my daycare. We even considered moving into Brandon at one point due to not being able to fill spots.  
 
It’s definitely not something I would recommend if you need your spots full in order to make a living at it. Make sure you are able to go months with having an empty spot(s).  
 
Covid made things worse and I ended up closing because I couldn’t fill my over 2 spots.
