getting my son to sleep in a crib

from about 4 weeks old my son has been sleeping with us, i know some ppl think its wrong but i don't care what they think. my question is how do i get him to sleep in the crib bc as soon as we move him he wakes up and is hungry and i nurse him at night and feed him a bottle during the day, i get no sleep bc im always waking up to make sure hes not getting suffocated or im not gonna roll on him, ive tried putting him in his crib and doing The Ferber method, but he still did not go to sleep in his crib so i gave up after a week bc i was exhausted.
