SO this Morning I logged into facebook and noticed there was a group for A Westman parenting magazine all I can say is what a great Idea also wondering if anyone else has more infomation of whom is doing it etc. Here is what the group says:  
 
Westman Parent is a free publication for parents and families in Brandon and South Westman. It is more than just another magazine targeting mom and baby: we provide education and information along with a sense of community. We provide information on useful products, humorous articles, monthly parenting columns, innovative ideas, a monthly calendar providing information on local parenting classes and a family oriented businesses all under one roof. We are the hub of activity for families providing a strong community of support. We support work at home moms, mompreneurs, families and businesses in our community. We are a leader in the community offering safe and natural alternatives for natural family living, local experts and vital information about our community.. We offer the education and support to families to make informed choices and research the alternatives. We strive to offer different points of view, new ideas and useful information for our parents to raise healthy, strong families.  
We are committed to making changes in our community. By supporting businesses and nonprofit organizations through our calendar of events, advertising and articles. By offering tips and articles about environmental issues we will create awareness of how to make simple changes to better our community. By offering space to advertise and market their organization helps strengthen their organization and assists parents in identifying resources in our community.
