What would you do? (nursing question)

I recently had a baby and am nursing her. My 12 month old is now "asking" to nurse. (Climing into my lap and rooting! Lol) My 12 month old was only nursed at the breast for a couple months, so its not like she feels that its her food source. I would have no problem tandem nursing if my 12 month nursed up to this point but I must say I'm apprehensive to start nursing the older one. Just wanted to know how other moms would deal with this.
