Weaning baby from breast to whole milk

When my daughter is 10 months I plan on slowly weaning her to whole milk. When she is a year old I want her to be on whole milk 100% of the time. I planned on breastfeeding for only 6 months, so I'm proud of myself for going this far. But I am ready to be done.
How did you wean your baby from breast to whole milk? And how old was your baby?
