I noticed a news story saying that in the US a child won a case in court that concurred her Autism is directly related to her one year vaccination. She had encephalitis 9 days after her MMR-V vaccination, and when she left the hospital at 12 months old, was functioning like a 2 month old. This is REALLY scary to me, since my son is nearing the one year mark this July. I am wondering what your opinions are on this, and if you know anyone personally that has had this happen to them? Some studies I found state that there are babies/kids getting autism at a rate of 1/38, where as in amish cultures, the rate is 1/10 000, my guess is they dont believe in the vaccinations. Thats pretty substantial!

I know there are arguments for both sides....I am a health professional who has been educated to promote the vaccination end of it. I am now curious and open minded to the other side in light of this information.
