So I was woke up by my son this morning AFTER he had been up for Gawd knows how long already.  
 
He poured all of the fish food into the aquarium! A curtain is on the floor so he obviously was considering an escape. And I heard nothing! And I am a light sleeper, he was being sneaky. I think I may need door alarms for when he leaves his room now, locks for fridges and fish tanks too. It will have to be total lock down at night.  
 
I feel so defeated.  
 
Before anyone feels a need to give parenting advice, save your breath. This is part of his condition surround impulsivity and not retaining the concept of consequences (for himself or others). This little 5 year old has turned into a terror this morning.  
 
Any suggestion on interior door alarms?
