Thanks for all of the tips. There were some really good ideas in there.
As far as him being unorganized, no, he is definately a slob. lol I'm sure he would agree with me. I don't think I am a bad parent for referring to him as that, no I didn't just realize it, and I don't think that I "taught" him to be a slob through my parenting. Thanks though!!
I 100% agree with picking your battles. Believe me, I have been less stressed this week because I haven't said one word to him about his room. As far as dishes, it isn't a lot but a couple of glasses and a plate usually. Mostly clothes. I think I will tell him I'm not buying him anything more since he obviously has too much already since he can go 2 weeks without doing laundry. He does know how to do laundry, just chooses not to. lol
I am going to check out that home logic. I know that he has it, I just have to figure it out.
Other than a couple of speedbumps, I am super proud of him. He made the honor roll last year, doesn't go out and party, drink or smoke. I guess a room full of clothes on the floor is minor compared to what some parents have to deal with.
Thanks again. I can definately tell by some of the messages that we are all on the same wave length. Us parents have to stick together!!
