Room decision for our girls

We have two girls 31/2yrs and 10months, we know its a little bit early for he little one but we want them to be friends but the oldest always want her space and not in a good mood everytime her sister wants to play with her(dont touch my stuff, leave me alone!)and it breaks my heart and i always try my best to make her play with her....my question is this, should they share rooms or seperate rooms? Thanks
