Child daycare??

Does anyone know or can they recomend a good babysitter or daycare that has openings. I have a 9 month old son and while his mom (my girlfriend) finishes school, as of now I am taking care of him, but due to a money issue I need to get a job. Im currently on EI which has told me that I need to find a daycare and find a full time job so what can be done??
