I recently put up a classified ad on EBrandon.ca  
 
I am looking for work as a nanny and have had a few offers but am unsure as to what I should charge. I am definitely NOT looking to take advantage of the parents, I want a fee that will be affordable for them but will also let me cover my monthly expenses.  
 
I have experience working at daycares and in clients homes. I have my own car, and pay for art and craft materials as well as trips to the museum, swimming pool, etc, out of my own pocket.  
 
What do you think, per day, is a fair amount to charge?
