How many parents out there know CPR/First Aid??

I have just finished reading the article on CBC about the little 2 year old who got her head/neck stuck in the car window and passed away. This made the hair on my arms stand up...and also made me a little sad. I personally do not have power windows in my car for this very reason.
My question to all the parents out there is this, how many of you know CPR/First Aid? I think that the situation with the little girl could have gone a different way had someone started CPR/First Aid on her rather than running to go call 911. Its just my opinion, but I believe that all parents should be trained in CPR/First Aid. You never know when you are going to need it.
Maybe us parents on Ebrandon can group together and have a CPR/First Aid course done so that we can be certified or re-certified for these life saving teachings. I would see it as an added bonus to learn CPR/First Aid rather than always depending on the panic system.
What are you thoughts??
