Circumcision - to Cut or not to Cut?

The healthcare system no longer covers circumcision for baby boys. Rates of circumcision have dropped dramatically in Canada. Interesting to note that it's now about 15% in Canada and still over 50% in the USA. Israel is almost 100% while places like Denmark hardly do it at all. Overall, the trend is that it's becoming far less common.
I can remember friends of mine say only a few years ago that they'd do that to their boy(s) so they could be "just like their Dad" but when they had a boy a few years later, they didn't get it done.
Is there even a debate these days? Sounds like at 15% the debate is almost over in this Country...
Interesting info from Toronto Star (old article from 10 yrs ago I stumbled upon while googling about this topic)..
A generation ago, 60 per cent of Canadian newborn boys were
circumcised, with rates rising to 80 per cent in English Canada
and 90 per cent in the United States. But with the birth of baby
boomers' own children, circumcision rates have fallen dramatically
- to an estimated 25 per cent in Canada and 60 per cent in the
U.S., according to various studies.
