Has anyone used playtimes drop and go service looking into using it for my 2yr old for about an hour while at my dr appointment and just wondering what to expect there's some information on there website but it's not really clear. What I'm mostly concerned about is when I drop her off is there a person specifically to watch her and make sure she doesn't hurt herself

the short answer is no- no one will be assigned to watch HER specifically, usually they just have staff that mill about & are basically the designated adult, they will intervene if they see something sketchy or unsafe, or if there is a dispute with the kids etc. They also let the kids know that there is always someone at the desk or canteen if they can't see that staff member that is their play boss, but unless there is a daycamp on, when you drop & go they pretty much free range about until you get back& the "play boss" will be "in charge" of a bunch of other kids of varying ages. Also I don't think they take kids as young as your daughter because they would need closer supervision, but call and ask.

I wouldn't. From what I've seen of the supervision the children in the drop and go childcare get as a parent I wouldn't use them as an option.

Hi.We were there last week.And that was ure last time.That place is so dirty.The steel frame has probably in inch of dust.Everything is so old.

We were also just there, and as a parent will not be taking my kids back. It was filthy. We have been there a few times before, and everytime was the same. It is not very well taken care of at all. Its too bad.

We were there not that long ago with all the grandkids and thought it was a great placesure it's not the cleanest but then you have nothing but kids running around still never seen any inch of dust laying around anywhere. The one area that could use definite improvement was the coach, as a day we were there it was quite crowded and not enough room for everyone's coats and boots but then that's a minor inconvenience. We got there bright and early as soon as it opened the kids never stopped running till lunchtime they had a blast. Then we all had lunch there and the food was surprisingly very good and wasn't priced out of this world either. We will definitely be taking them back there sometime but I'm not too sure about the drop and go.

I was starting to think I must have really low standards in the cleanliness department !! Lol. We go there fairly often and while I'm sure it's not always as clean as it could be, it's not so disgustingly dirty that I worry about it. It's a public place where kids are involved so it's never going to always be clean. We've been there while the girls were cleaning too. I do wish they'd wipe down the structure a bit more though. I've worked in daycare centres and it's no more dirtier than those so maybe I'm just immune to the "dirty" factor it's no different to me than the play places at fast food restaurants. A few years ago, yes it was dirty!! I think they've improved though  
 
As for drop and go....I think they could improve on this and have the staff a little more hands on. If your child is older, than I wouldn't be as worried but a young child I'd worry a bit. Heck, even some parents that ARE there don't watch their children and allow them to hit other children even though they saw me address the situation and speak to their child.....I'm not sure a staff member would have seen this aggressive child and your child could have been his target.  
 

i would not send a two year old. there is little supervision. and they must be able to use the bathroom properly every time.

I was told the child must be potty trained
