charge for sending emails? I've never heard of this.
Most of the time you would have to meet in person for most legal issues, and part of that may be some email correspondence back and forth for information purposes.
You would of course get charged for your time with the lawyer, but I don't know any lawyers who charge to send emails.
I email and text my lawyer often when we have used his service, and never has that showed up on the bill. Generally we just get billed by type of service provided, as sometimes charging by time is difficult.
