My son will be turning 1 right away and we were hoping to have a birthday party for him somewhere where there is a swimming pool. Does anyone know if any of the local hotels will let you rent their hospitality (or something like it) room for a couple of hours and allow pool use with it? We don't want to rent an actual hotel room. I do plan to call around tomorrow and ask but thought I would see if anyone knew off hand.  
 
I can't wait for the Sportsplex to reopen.

about hotels, we've always just rented a room. But the ymca is another option, the pool is nice and shallow and they do host birthday parties.

We had our kids birthday at the Royal Oak. They have tables that you can set up and decorate. We rented the room for the night and just had a slumber party. I believe they charge you the cost of the room regardless if you stay the night or not.  

We rented a poolside room at the Victoria Inn for my sons 1st birthday. They provided tables and chairs for us and we were able to bring in our own food, cake etc. We had to pay around $100 for the room but had guests coming from out of town so we offered them the room for the night.
