is there a new "Mother"?

Ok, I am driving to work this morning and I am thinking about Mother Teresa. Why? I have no clue, I am not even Catholic!
So since she has passed on, is there a new "Mother"? Or was she the only mother? How did she get to be the mother? Was it because she was the oldest?
