So after sending all the information into Winnipeg last week, I called this morning to get some sort of idea as to the waiting period for acceptance was.  
The person I spoke to informed me that MPI has pulled the plug on the program and will no longer be funding applicants.  
This isnt a cheap course to take, and there isnt really any other avenues out there for funding.  
That being said, does anyone have any information about companies who may take on a driver in training?

Call the big companies like bison, Arnold brothers out of Winnipeg.  
Most have there own training programs. You would have to sign a  
Contract and work for them for a year or 2. Or get a loan and pay  
Up front then your not locked into anything.

Bison is a no. You require a full class 1, and they have a "finishing program".

Longhorn is a no as well:  
You must have the full class 1. I would say this most likely is due to insurance and liability.
