I am hoping against hope that someone can help me find my son's bicycle.  
 
My 11-year-old son, despite taking such good care of his bicycle, has lost his bicycle through no fault of his own.  
 
The bike in question is dark grey-green 26" mountain bike, and has the word "Mongoose" on the top tube (the bar under the seat). It has a distinct tire tread AND it has a black CCM U-lock locked around it's body. The seat post is recognizably rusted.  
 
It was stolen in the area of 13th Street N sometime between midnight and 7 am.  
 
I am so disappointed in my husband, who borrowed the bike yesterday and didn't lock it up upon returning. AND I am so sad for my son.  
 
We're not a rich family, and we just bought this bike for him as a birthday present last month. This is his first new bike that he's had since his last one was stolen less than two weeks after his birthday two years ago.
