Hey everyone.  
I am in need of your help. I am the lead of a group that will be planning an event for a group in 2020. We haven't decided fully on if we are going to hire a band or a DJ, but when we do, it will most likely be up to me and one other person to find, as the rest of the planning group are outside of Brandon.  
My question to all of you, which band(s) do you know that play all types of music and can make sure people are dancing all night. If you have links to videos or website that will be really helpful too.

I know people like the idea of a live band, but they need to take breaks, and don’t always play what songs or music that will always make things work.... I suggest a DJ and if you want the best, go with Bryan at Expressions! No one better!!!!

Misty Street, they play classics and have their own take on new music. Just look them up on YouTube/Facebook.

The Clubbing Fraggles are a great band, and meet all your requirements based on my experience at a number of events they’ve played at.

This band has been around for over 15 years and plays all kinds of events from weddings to corporate dinners to socials & bars. If there is anything you want to hear, they'll play it and if they don't know it, they'll learn it. Contact Mike at 204-761-2995. You won't be disappointed.

Very versatile, play lots of different genres, good dance band. They are playing a free show at Princess Park next Tuesday. check them out.

The clubbing Fraggles. We saw them at the casino and then at the brier, they had everyone up dancing all night.

CROSSFYRE is a great band that plays rock and country. Check them out on Facebook!

TangleBox has been around for 18 yrs and plays a good mix of country, classic and new rock and new pop. They all sing and will provide any type of music in between sets as well. Doug 2047610870.

Have you heard of Super Shuffle? Officially known As 8 Track Super Shuffle? This band started out playing rock tunes, from multiple decades. For later performances, at rural socials and casinos - they built up a selection of country tunes. For playing weddings, a few pop dance tunes were added. DEFINITELY hire a live band, if you want background music go DJ. Nothing beats the interaction with real musicians and the raw sound of your favorite songs. Speaking from many years of experience with both.

If they're still around. I don't know if they travel to skatch, though.

Our daughter and son in law hired them for their wedding in 2015 came from winnipeg and were reasonable price out in virden. and they had the floor rocking.

This band is called The URGEZ. They are Great Musicians with very high energy. They play everything from Classic Rock/Country/Hard Rock & Alternative Music. They play a lot in Wpg but also in other areas of Mb & Sask etc. We have heard them on several occasions & have always had a great time, lots of dancing, great laughs & really enjoyed their music. I suggest the band called The 204 . I seen them at a fundraiser social and they were excellent!
