Couldn’t make it this year. So how does it compare to years past? Weather was certainly good. Really wanted to see Tom Cochrane.

Was a great weekend. Although in my opinion Collective Soul owned the weekend. As far as Tom Cochrane, his show was good but not what I was expecting. Same goes for April Wine. Not saying they were bad, but the age really showed with the energy of the show, like April Wine taking 2 very extended breaks during show. otherwise the weekend was great. The one comment I have to the RFM crew is that they need to find something to fill the early part of the day. Something for those of us that don't want to hang out in campground to do. On Saturday they had the Rock Off, but need to promote it a bit better and do something to bring people out to that. There was a decent crowd for second band in battle but in my opinion the band drew them in. After they played the crowd dissipated. (And really they should have won the battle. How can a band that chased crowd away win?)  
To wrap up, the weekend was well worth it. There will always be complaints but regardless I will be buying my tickets in September again.

We won day passes for Sunday and my husband was excited to see Tom Cochran. We met up with friends and we enjoyed the day (first time there for both of us) but I have to admit, I knew none of the bands really and I only had heard of 2 songs lol. It’s his type of music whereas countryfest is mine.  
 
I was impressed with the layout, the organization, the atmosphere etc. People were friendly and not so sloppy drunk that it ruins it for everyone around them. It was kept fairly clean but as adults, some could have done better!! You can’t just throw your garbage wherever you feel like and expect someone else to pick it up.  
 
But the team that puts on RFM should be really proud of what they have going on there!! Even though countryfest is more my music, I preferred the atmosphere of RFM and the friends and us are planning on working something out for next year so we can all camp together

I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE PORTABLE TOILETS WERE THE CLEANEST IV EVER SEEN AT A CONCERT THAT LASTED 5 DAYS PORTAGE SEPTIC DID AN EXCELLENT JOB NO SMELL WOULD NOT EVEN KNOW THEY WERE PORTABLE TOILETS VERY GOOD JOB DONE BYE THE STAFF. I KNOW ITS A SMALL THING COMPRED TO EVERY THING ELSE BUT THAT WAS PART OF IT AND IN OPINION EXCELLENT JOB.
