Looking for record player speakers

    Looking for record player speakers

    Hi all, I'm wondering if someone knows where I can acquire/purchase a pair of speakers for an old Pioneer PL-S40 record player. I have attached a photo of the ends of the audio cables coming from the record player.    
     
    Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

    looks like the output of the player needs to first plug into the input of a receiver/amp. Then select phono/line and the output from the phono player will heard on the speakers of the receiver/amp. If you do not have a method of amplification for the very small signal from the player, your out of luck.

    You can buy a phono pre amp and use the aux on your receiver. My receiver did not have a phono option- I picked up a pre amp on amazon. They range in price , mine was around 20 bucks and works good.
