Over the past 5 years the number 1 Christmas single in the UK has come from the winner of the show "X Factor". This year a Facebook group called "Rage Against The Machine For Christmas NO.1" called on people to download the track "Killing in the Name" to dethrone the X Factor's top spot. The single "Killing in the Name" sold 500,000 copies beating this years X Factor winner Joe McElderry's single "The Climb" (yes thats Miley Cyrus's song) by 50,000.
