I didnt see any mention of this event while browsing ebrandon, so here it is.  
 
What is YAZEWPALOOZA?

From the mastermind of Sean Mitchell comes the first annual Yazepalooza, a benefit for his friend Yazew. Yazew, a cool cat from Kenya, has a wife and child in his homeland. He did not know until very recently they are still alive. He moved his wife away two years ago to save her from a very scary situation in his home city. He did this to protect her even though he knew he may never see her again. Yazew has been in Canada since June, and now wants to bring his wife and son, whom he's never met, here as well.  
 
The good folks at Clancy's have been generous enough to donate a venue and whatever cover charge they make at the door. As well we will be doing some 50/50 draws and a couple other things to help Yazew with some finances. Our band Jimmy Legs and The Funk will be playing, and we have asked a couple friends to join in on the musical entertainment.

So there you have it. It's at Clancy's tomorrow night at 9pm, and its 5$ to get in. All entrance fees will go to the cause and the bands playing are donating their time for the night.  
 
All that is needed now is more people to show up, support the cause and have a good time!
