    How to dress for upcoming ballet and WSO concert

    Hi Everyone - I will be attending the Nutcracker ballet on Nov 23 and the WSO Christmas concert in December, 2016. Can someone tell me how people dress to attend these types of musical offerings? Can you go casual, or do you dress up? Thanks for your help with this.

    I've always dressed up for these type of events. Not full on formal but definitely not jeans.

    Honestly, I have been many times, and you will see a few people dressed formally, most are business or "smart" casual, some in jeans and tees. I prefer to wear dress slacks, medium heels, and a nice blouse and sweater.

    I'm a guy, but when I go out to things like that I like to wear jeans and a dress shirt. Maybe even a blazer.
