Better Option

There are way better options out there. It honestly depends on what you want out of your Karaoke machine. But if you want something with great sound quality I wouldn't buy a "karaoke machine" at all. I would buy a Bluetooth enabled powered PA speaker and microphone. That way you'll be able to get a really good volume without it getting distorted and awful when it gets louder.
Most karaoke machines have really awful cheap speakers in them. Now that said, it of course depends on what you want to spend. But $250 Faders gets you a powered PA speaker that will MASSIVELY outperform any Karaoke machine you get for the same price.
Then just stream bluetooth karaoke songs/youtube videos from your phone/laptop/ipad etc.
That said, you could just buy a specified karaoke machine. It'll be cheaper but the more you use it, the more you'll notice it's sound and eventually come to hate it.
This is all just my own opinion. But i've been around quality sound equipment my whole life and I think dedicated karaoke machines are a definite waste of money.
