Today I went to the Big One sale and I was absolutely appalled at how many ignorant inconsiderate people there are.  
I hate to complain but I can't comprehend how people think that in such a busy area, it's ok to stop and have long conversations with people in the middle of the walking area. Some had huge circles of 5-10 people blocking complete areas while they were chatting with each other. Why is this ok? It's hard enough to get around and so many people had strollers, walkers, wheelchairs ect. How are they supposed to squeeze around your inconsiderate a**?  
I realize this happens everywhere but it just blew my mind today.

it is always like that and if you have gone before you know that.  
 
Unfortunately, there is really no place to move and chat and people don't want to leave the area they are looking in.  
 
I don't like it either, but I know that is exactly what is going to happen before I go - so I either go and just go with the flow, or stay home.

Gosh! It's been a lot of years since I was taught that there is a time and place to use the expression "excuse me", never had a problem with people not allowing me to get by them, or even go between them.

We never go. Neither one of us can stand the outrageous crowds that go. We go to the smaller craft sales.

I'm definitely one to say excuse me but I've also been subjected to numerous dirty looks by people that I've said it to. Like my needing to get passed them and trying to do it in a polite way, inconvenienced them.

I have read the above comments regarding saying excuse me, my results have always been to the positive. One thing the comments made me do was maybe question my attitude. I sort of questioned myself about eye contact as well as tone of my voice when I say "excuse me". Maybe my attitude is equal to those who decide they will roll their eyes at me, hope not.

Is just as busy with all new vendors.

We had a great time and no issues with other people. But we were not in a hurry to get through. The crowds were not as bad as previous years, I thought. I can imagine that if you seem disgruntled walking through and those are vibes you are giving off, others will pick up on them. I found people to be quite friendly.

From a vendor perspective, we deal with this all the time. People choosing to camp out right in front of our booth and have a full conversation with a group, not realizing they are keeping anyone else from coming to look at our wares or talk to us. And often when another customer asks if they can get passed them to come look the dirty looks are shot back at them like daggers.  
 
I feel like Superstore had this same sort of atmosphere where families collide in the product section and it's a 20-minite catchup sesh with 10 people and other shoppers can't get by. There's a time and a place for everything and I think we could all stand to look at the world through another's eye more often.

find this is a common issue at this particular sale. I have to say that these group conversations in the middle of the isle or in front of vendors booths are composed primarily of females. I do realize the majority of persons who attend "The Big One" are female but it is only respectful and courteous to allow others to pass freely down the isles and see they are blocking traffic.  
 
I would agree that from a vendor perspective this would be highly irritating if a group congregated in front of their booth; having no intention to purchase anything, instead just to catch up and socialize.

Oh I love these people I'm a dink though so I walk through the middle of them and I'f I cant I say excuse while I'm walking I dont stop if you dont move I'm coming lol the other one I hate is all you people that leave your cart in the middle of the aisle lmao I run into it with my cart everytime. However on another note you women are bad i cant believe how many times I see you ladys leave your purse in your cart and your 2 aisles over or no were around or back turned I always shake my head it takes 2 seconds for some lowlife to grab whatever they want and they will.

I don't go to this particular sale any more because it's too much crammed into that space. Many times in the past when I did go I skipped vendors because there is simply no room to move.

it is the same vendors, in the same spaces with no new product.  
 
It is my last year of going.

"If one more person steps in front of me I am going to run them over." That gets people out of the way.
