The turkeys were hatched, not born. It may have just been a simple oversight in Prizzy's post, but this is just something that gets to me when I see it so often as it is basic science.
Each above mentioned animal in their own way can be a nuisance, but then again, so can people...and people are often very unsanitary.
I think there are more health issues with the domesticated indoor/outdoor animals than the wild ones, but since most of the dogs & cats are "family", most people don't see it that way and ignore that they are dirty & leave poop, pee or residues too with all sorts of allergens, pathogens & parasites of various sorts in yards, floors & furniture, even if you wash them, worm them or pick up after them. It exists. They can often be quite destructive as well with digging, chewing, peeing & pooping on grass and other plantings. As you can see, I am not just picking on the feral animals.
I have no issue with turkey poop on streets, and only would have an issue with it if it was all over my deck, patio table, kids play structures, my entire lawn, vehicle or something of that sort. Most country people would not have an issue unless it was that way either. The wild animals are just that and unless you eradicate all wild animals, they (in general) will still appear in cities either from within or come in from outside each cities "perimeter. " Unfortunately for some, c'est la vie.
