Where to get a string magnifying glass?

Looking for one that has a built in light and is a bit stronger than the regular chain store brands. Need it for reading very small print.

Try CNIB on 10th Street - they carry a variety of vision aids. Also could try any of the optometry offices such as FYI Doctors in the Town Centre or Shoppers Mall.

you scan or photo the writing and then enlarge it on your phone or computer.
ctrl + makes an image/screen larger, ctrl - makes it smaller ctrl 0 (ie zero) reverts screen to normal.

Problem solved. After looking at the various places in town some mentioned on this thread I found that they were all basically the same. I needed a stronger one and got one with led lights built in from Amazon. Also it was on sale with free shipping which doesn’t happen often. Thanks to those who offered suggestions.

The person who needs this magnifying glass is 87 and doesn’t own a cell phone only a land line.
