It does appear you have rights when applying for jobs here in Manitoba.
Manitoba law requires a reasonable alternative or accommodation.
It does not require that the alternative be in-store.
What matters is whether the applicant is given meaningful access to apply.
“Meaningful access” this is why most places have kiosks or tablets to apply on, or they will ask you to visit customer service and a CSR will then give you a ready-made application form.

That said, I agree that applying in person should be the way things are done.
