any one haven problems with text messages. you get the same message over an over.

I'm with mts and some iMessages go through others I have to send as texts. Some I don't receive. Been happening all week.

Mine was around the time of the leap second when it started with my sister she's Rogers I am mts. We restarted our phones this morning and it seemed to fix the issue, just took a few minutes.

I had tried a restart and had left it off for an hour but it still hasn't helped. I had to delete the conversations that were repeating themselves.

I was convinced it was because I was playing with the settings on my phone and not using the stock messaging app. I undid all the changes I made hoping to fix it. I guess I can put it all back now... ughhh

MTS Customers are receiving duplicate SMS messages when other Wireless Carriers are texting them. Messages sent from MTS to MTS are not affected. We apologize for the inconvenience.

They don't happen to mention whether they are currently working on resolving the issue or when it may be fixed.

I've been having poor service in marginal coverage areas for awhile now. Maybe it's the atmosphere

I'm on MTS other party is on Rogers. 3 different text messages from them repeated throughout the night. 56 times in total!!

I'm with Rogers and people are telling me they received the same text message from me 10 times today!
I have no idea how I can stop this. I will be going to Rogers first thing in the morning. I never had any problems with Rogers before.

If the people you are texting are MTS customers then that will be why they are receiving duplicates. It is a problem with MTS transmitting texts to and from other providers and MTS will have to resolve it, I don't think there will be anything the other carriers can do.

Last night I received numerous duplicates from a friend. Some several hours apart. She said she has been receiving duplicates from me through out last night and today. I'm with rogers, I am not sure but think she is with mts.

got up this morning to over 300 txts from a buddy all the same thing .. I thought he was drunk or something but the phones are screwed up

The same issue. A couple of mts friends and im Rogers. Apparently they received my texts repeatedly all night long. Glad it's not my fault. Lol

I'm with Bell Mobility and no where in Manitoba at the moment, but I had the same issue. I kept getting the same message in one message thread repeatedly. And i use a text message app instead of the one that came with my phone. I'm not sure where it stems from

I seem to be recieving my texts about 15 minutes later then they are sent. Anyone else having that problem? I am with mts and have a iphone 5s.

Yesterday and today I can't even send a text. Just keeps searching. Maybe it has something to do with all this smoke.
