Maybe.
I'm single and have an injury. I find that just getting to the back corner of the store where the staples like eggs and dairy are is taxing.
When you're hurt or elderly, the size of grocery stores today is a hindrance. Picture the Robaxacet guy with a needle in his back pushing the cart to the back corner of Walmart, lifting the groceries, standing in line, then pushing the full cart through snow and lifting them into his car again, then still needing to unload them at home.
It's not the stores fault I'm injured but it sure makes me realize how the huge stores are a hindrance for the elderly.
Superstore massive carts are the worst...like a tank
Anyway, it could be very useful in mid winter for these reasons, and i could either pick out and pay for my produce before calling them, our i probably couldn't short winter produce prices anyway haha.
Just my perspective.
However, to maintain the system and store perishable foods and pay staff to shop for you is definitely more than $3 so everyones grocery bill would go up.
