Out of Province Parking Ticket - To pay or not to pay?

What do folks know about getting a parking ticket while out of province? Provincial governments now share offences such as speeding but do cities and municipalities? Any thoughts or experience with this? What about Brandon? Do parking tickets here follow out of province folks?
