And once again, one of our vehicles, parked in our driveway, on Riverheights Dr. was rifled through. Yes I know it was my fault for forgetting to lock the car... 2nd time in 3 months.  
What ever happened to respecting others property? Rhetorical question....

I live on Rosser by Riverheights and I posted the video last week of them checking my truck at 2am but they didn't come to my place last night.

At approximately 2:46 a.m., a resident from the west end of Brandon reported that her vehicle was entered while parked in the driveway and her wallet stolen. A witness observed three males running from the vehicle. Several other calls were received from residents of the same area reporting these males entering vehicles. Police attended and located the suspects as they were preparing to get into a taxicab. All three males were found to have items in their possession from several vehicles. Investigation revealed that the suspects entered approximately 20 vehicles over the course of the night. Several wallets, credit cards and other items were recovered from the suspects. A 16-year-old male youth has been arrested for Possession of Property Obtained By Crime X 4. The youth was also found to be in Breach of Recognizance. He was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to appear in Court on Friday. A 14-year-old male youth has ben arrested for Possession of a Stolen Credit Card X 3 and Possession of Property Obtained By Crime X 2. He has been released to attend Court in October. The third suspect arrested is also a 14-year-old male youth. He was arrested for Possession of Stolen Credit Card X 3 and Possession of Property Obtained By Crime X 2. He was released to attend Court in October. Further charges may follow as the investigation continues.

Great that these thieves were caught, but I'm really surprised at how many people must be leaving their wallets/credit cards in their vehicles.

They were also in people's back yards, garages and shed!! No respect!!

a wallet should be with you or in your house at all times. Not left in a car, shed, garage, etc.  
 
Kind of common sense - just so you don't have to spend all that time contacting people to cancel cards, wait to get issued new ones, including health card, social insurance.....such a pain.

Seems to be a consensus of an age old debate. People sometimes forget to take valuables out their car, but it indeed invites petty low-life bottom of the barrel scum who are looking exactly for vulnerable people that have simply forgotten locked doors, gates, bikes, sheds, etc.  
 
I'm sure that most hard working, normal people agree that it's not anyone's right to steal things not belonging to them.  
 
Don't make it easier for the thugs. There are lots of expensive and not so expensive deterrents.  
 
What a crappy situation. Glad they caught these jerks. Wonder if their parents ever noticed their juvenile children missing at 1-2-3-4 in the morning?
