Well seeing Brian Pallister take the blame for Christmas was hard to watch and took allot to take the blame . I see so many that are asking for vaccine's first and communities and areas defying orders. I wonder who is to blame? Well if these groups and citizens stayed home as asked and wore masks this could possibly be contained to certain house holds not whole communities. Then Christmas could maybe have 10 people during these times possibly. But to many people feel that we wont get it and travel to many residences and communities spreading this virus. These are the people that ruined Christmas in my mind not Pallister. He had the balls to lock us down to save lives as directed by health officials. Our thoughts and prayers need to go to health care workers, doctors and home care workers and EMT and all those types of people I may have missed. These people also should be first to receive the vaccine so they can continue to care for all our Manitobans. Stay safe

I'm going to disagree with you a bit here. It's not just us.  
 
Yes, there are bad actors who have been disobeying the rules and it's at least partially responsible for where we are, but after the lead the government's taken, on some levels I can't blame them too much.  
 
Pallister says he "stole Christmas", but he didn't do it in Oct/Nov. He did it in July. And now he gets international press coverage as being a "good leader" because he cried during a new conference (again).  
 
I'm not denying the message was absolutely correct, but it feels pretty disingenuous considering how we got to this point.

Remember, Christmas is not cancelled or ruined. It is just different this year. There are many people who have had many Christmases away from loved ones in the past. It didn't wreck Christmas, it just made it different.
