I have some knitted toques, scarves, slippers to give to people who need them.  
I don’t profess to be an excellent knitter, therefore I wouldn’t give them to anyplace who would sell them.  
I tried the place on Pacific Ave, and Samaritan House. MCC would sell them. Is there no where in Brandon to donate good used clothing or items like mine to give away to those who could use them.

Might take them. Also try the Salvation Army.

Try Helping Hands on 7th St. I left scarves there in the past for them to give away.

I was at Western Financial on Friday to renew my Auto Pac . They are accepting donations of knit items - scarves , mittens, slippers , Toques ,etc . I don't know which charity they are collecting for . Give them a call. 202-727-8510 .

Over last winter I knitted a bunch of toques and scarves and gave them to the Bear Clan behind Jenkins on College Ave to give them to street people and those in need. They were very happy with the donation.

Have you considered the women's shelter on princess or the Meredith place?
