Freezing Christmas Baking

I have a question about freezing Christmas Baking....
I usually wait and bake everything last minute..but this year I have to do everything early due to a minor surgery I'm having done Dec 22...ANYWAYS
My question is when you freeze your Xmas baking does it still taste as fresh & yummy as freshly made stuff? How long is it ok to freeze it for? THANKS!!!
