With Halloween behind us, it looks like it's full-speed ahead with the Christmas and Holiday season. A quick walk through a number of local stores and the Xmas chocolates, wrapping paper, etc stock is already on shelves, the mall already has its decorations up and I even heard Christmas music playing at one local big box last night.  
 
With that in mind, I've brought the "Christmas/Winter Holiday Season" eBrandon discussion group to the forefront as a feature group... where it will remain for the next two months. If you have a Holiday-related discussion, it will be easier than ever to post since the group is now listed in the top area of all groups. If you want to see what other local people are saying about the holidays, hover your mouse over top of "Groups" in the main menu and pick "All groups." The Christmas/Winter Holiday Season" group will be easily accessible from the list of main groups that comes up.  
 
As a side note, look for the eBrandon Holiday Lights Map in a few weeks. For those that aren't familiar, for the past two years eBrandon has compiled and posted a well-received Brandon map with the locations of some of Brandonites' more prominent light displays. The purpose being two fold....  
- to make it easy for people to plan their lights tours  
- to give people a chance to vote on what they think are the best displays  
 
I'd love to expand into rural displays this year as well, but will be needing volunteers in some of the larger Westman towns. Feel free to drop me a note if you might be able to help out in your town by taking a few pics and providing me with addresses!
