    where to get garland tinsel?

    Have looked everywhere for this. Trying to make the coathanger Christmas trees. Have been to Michaels, Walmart, Cdn Tire, Dollar Tree? Why is it so scarce?

    If unable to find in the stores maybe try some of the second hand stores.Sometimes the stuff is like new in these places and have been donated.Good luck

    Perhaps it's scarce this year because it is not an "on trend" accessory to Christmas decorating this year. Like fashion, things go in cycles. Many people are using wide ribbon as garland on their trees or choosing not to use garland or tinsel at all. Have you tried Superstore, Dollarama, Loonie Toons, Value Village, Nearly New Shop?

    Beside Dulux Paints had a ton - not great quality obviously, but they had lots of colours.
