Everyone is aware of how dangerous Chinese lanterns are-and find some other way to celebrate whatever is being celebrated. The remains of the lanterns are a hazard to wildlife and domestic livestock. They are also a fire hazard.

We won’t be letting them go in brandon. We are in the country. I understand stand they are not good for the environment, wildlife, fires, etc. Maybe they should put a ban on them then. I was just wanting to know a place to purchase them. Not to get a big lecture about how bad they are. I miscarried in July and was just wanting to send some lanterns up for him on my due date.

So sorry for your loss, unless you have been there, no one understands the pain you suffer with each day. Don't let the TROLLS here get to you. Chinese lanterns are beautiful and there would be no risk of fire this time of year! What a beautiful gesture. Some people just love to anonymously sit behind a screen and criticize. It's their hobby. Much love to you and your family.

I found some at Jiffy and it says they are 100% biodegradable.
