How do you control frizz?  
 
I have heard that sulfate-free shampoos help, but don't have the desire to read the ingredients on every bottle at the store. Are there any kinds you can buy for a reasonable price that you know are sulfate free?  
 
Any other methods/products you've found to be effective in the fight against frizz?  
 
I seem to be losing my battle lately, so thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Have you tried going to Sally Ann’s in the Corel Center ? They have lots of sulphate free shampoos and conditioners and easy thing is, is you can go up to the sales associate and ask they have no problem showing you the different products.

If you don’t already, wash hair in cool water. When I’m rinsing the conditioner out, I use the coldest water I can handle. I also use a Moroccan oil if it’s too frizzy

look into cleansing conditioners, or cowash. target carries a few options & safeway here in town carries a brand called renpure. i switched to this a couple years ago & love it. i still use a reg sudsing shampoo once in a while to give a good scalp scrub but the cleansing conditioner does a great job cleaning without stripping natural oils so no frizz!

If you use sulphate free shampoo than you need to make sure your shampoo and conditioner don’t contain silicone or you will end up with lots of build up (sulphates get rid of silicone).  
 
Frizz can also be caused by dry hair so try deep conditioning regularly, you could also try a leave in conditioner. Use cool water to rinse your hair.  
 
Do you have curly hair? You could join the Canadian curlies Facebook page, they do the curly girl method and have photo albums with pics of different shampoos and conditioners that don’t have sulphates or silicones, in a variety of price ranges, I get all my stuff from Walmart.

My daughter has kinky hair, but it is extremely frizzy if left alone. I use something called "hair pudding" . Use it when your hair is wet and it will really define the hair without making it crusty or hard. You can find it pretty much anywhere, Walmart or hair solons. I use that , or coconut oil which works wonders too.. these are the only 2 products that have worked. I'm not too sure what type of hair you have though , so it may not work. Good luck

I have really frizzy hair, I started using lavender and cederwood Essential oil with liquor cocoa oil! Works like a charm.

I have curly hair, but if I don’t do anything to it, it just looks like a frizzy mess. I use Just a bit of Moroccan oil, rub it in the palms of my hands and work it through my hair. I find that it helps tame the frizz, but is still light enough that my hair keeps some of its bounce. Just be careful not to use too much, because this could make hair look greasy.

I love it, I have coarse wavy hair and use it every day. I have tried the Aussie and the Nexxus, I like both. (bought at Walmart) I use on damp hair and not on the roots. I leaves my hair soft, and in control. Chatters is a great place to go and get advice, the staff is helpful and they have a huge range of product price points, and if if doesn't work on your hair, you can return it.(within reason)

in the Coral Centre is where I went and talked to the stylists about recommendations for my hair type and were easygoing.  
I tried going into Sally's next to Chatters and the sales people at Sally's are incredibly pushy and overbearing.
