i watch the discovery channel and wonder why we are so far behind the european countrys. Russia and the Czeck Republic and all the western countrys have street cars and trains between citys. Why is the north american transit system so far behind?  
 
i mean i saw the documentary about how GM and Firestone and somebody else bought the street csrs in LA Toronto and every other big city back in the 40s. But these idiots that run the Citys and Government havent seemed to want to do anything different.
